Mitsubishi Motors to launch 7 new models in China in 2008
Time:2008-06-16
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, one of the largest automakers in Japan, and partner of Southeast (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd, a Fuzhou-based passenger car manufacturer, will introduce seven all-new car models to the Chinese cooperator before the end of 2008.

Mitsubishi new Eclipse, one of the seven new car models to-be launched in Chinese market, is the fourth-generation version of the sports car model. It is in a flat structure with transom. The suspension system with Macpherson Strut Suspension in the front and Multi-link suspension in the back makes the car model much tougher and less vibrating on rough road conditions. Its interior fittings include automatic air-conditioner, heatable genuine leather seats, heatable rear-view mirrors, aluminium treadboard, etc.

The sports car sees Nissan 350Z as its biggest rival and is cheaper than Audi TT and BMW Z4. Judging from the price of its rivals, the Mitsubishi sports car will probably be priced at no less than 400,000 yuan ($57,700) in China.
