Dongfeng Nissan to export Teana to West Europe
Time:2008-06-18
By Kelly
Shanghai, June 17 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Nissan will export the new Teana and other Nissan vehicles to west Europe in the future, Nissan officials told Beijing Morning Post.

Nissan Motors said it has determined to choose competitive car model made in its China joint venture for overseas market. Nissan is the second Japanese automaker to deliver China made vehicles for overseas market.

Prior to Nissan, Honda Motor (China) Investment Co has begun to export Jazz models to West Europe ever since April 2005.

Actually, Dongfeng Nissan, a joint venture between the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motors, has exported auto parts and complete vehicles to Russia, Japan, Mexico, Angela and some other countries as early as 2006. But the exports at that time are limited to a small number of Tiida lineup locally made in China.

In future Dongfeng Nissan will be responsible for exporting left-hand drive Teana to Europe, while Nissan production facility in Japan mainly exports right-hand drive models.
